Pray for our church leaders, the leaders of our Area, the leaders of the Region and denomination. As we face the challenges of the day, God is able to lead us throught to succesful and faithful ministry. Everything rises and falls with leadership. Pray that our leaders will do an excellent job as they follow Jesus and give direction to us.

Several years ago the only church in the Sherman City community closed. For the last couple of years there has been a growing sense that God is calling us to have an active witness in the community. The community is half way between Parsons and Columbus and is very much out in the country. Please pray that we will have direction and resources as we pursue God's heart for these folks. Many in the community do not go to church. Please pray for their salvation and growth in Jesus Christ. We are asking God to put an urgency about their relationship with Jesus in their hearts. We are asking for favor as we seek to develop a new ministry in an old place.

Nearly every church in our Area has men and women serving in Iraq. Please keep our troops in prayer that they may return safely from harms way with mission accomplished.
